APS PRESS RELEASE – 19/5/09

Car Park Advertising Company, Rent My CarPark Announce the Australian Parking Station Project

Dated: May 19, 2009

Newly formed car park rental agency, Rentmy Carpark has started an ambitious car parking project which aims to reduce stress for drivers, provide maximum car park occupancy and create a national database of all parking station car parks nationwide.

Most drivers experience a lot of stress and anxiety when trying to find a car park, especially in unfamiliar places. Drivers, who are unsure of the length of parking needed, can be risking large fines or are too worried about security.
With the quick and very simple search tools of Rentmy Carpark, drivers are able to find the most convenient, secure and best value car parks. In general, parking stations offer more secure and better value for money parks over street parking. The project would also allow parking stations to advertise not only their location and contact details but also their hourly rates, operating hours, early bird rates and other relevant information such as the number of disabled parks.

Michael Dunne, the Managing Director of Rentmy Carpark said “This project will offer companies and local governments a unique opportunity to advertise their car parks, free of charge, and at the same time be guaranteed to reach their target audience every time.”

“All of our parking station ads are recognised as separate pages on the major search engines which makes it very easy for people to find our car park ads” – said Mr Dunne. In order to help get this project off the ground Rentmy Carpark will offer their services free of charge to create a company’s account and also to load the companies parking station details onto their system.

“Rentmy Carpark is committed to creating parking solutions for Australia, but we cannot do it on our own. We need the co-operation and help of all parking companies and local governments in order for this scheme to succeed.” said Mr Dunne.
